IMPERIAL PARAFFIN INHIBITOR (WAX INHIBITOR) IPI 142 is an anionic active compound in a hydrocarbon solvent. It is an oil soluble paraffin dispersant used to prevent paraffin deposition in down hole and surface equipment. This product can also be used as a solvent to remove existing deposits.

PRODUCT USAGE:

IPI 142 is recommended for use as paraffin dispersant for the following applications:

1. Down hole paraffin deposition
2. Flowline paraffin deposition
3. Wellhead paraffin deposition

APPLICATION:

 IPI 142 is recommended for use  as  a  continuous or  batch  type treatment as follows:

1. Continuous treatment of rod pumping and hydraulic pumping wells to prevent paraffin depositions
2. Continuous treatment at the flow line to prevent paraffin deposition
3. Slug treatment of pumping wells to remove paraffin deposition on tubing and rods.
4. Slug treatment of flow lines to remove paraffin deposits.
